Olivea Supplement Lab Results 2026
Last updated March 28, 2026 · Report #26-072739
We test every batch of Olivea supplements through independent, third-party laboratories before a single bottle ships. No exceptions. The results below are from our most recent Certificate of Analysis (COA), conducted by Certified Laboratories in Tustin, California — an ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited facility specializing in botanical ingredients, dietary supplements, and foods.
This page exists because we believe you should know exactly what you're putting in your body. Not marketing claims. Not "proprietary blends." The actual lab numbers.
The Headline Number
Hydroxytyrosol is the polyphenol that matters most. It's the compound the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) specifically recognizes for protecting blood lipids from oxidative stress — the mechanism behind the heart-healthy reputation of Mediterranean diets.
Most olive oil supplements either don't contain meaningful levels of hydroxytyrosol, or they don't test for it. We do both.
What We Test For
Every batch goes through three categories of testing: potency, purity, and safety.
Potency
| Test | Method | Result | Spec |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hydroxytyrosol | HPLC (SOP 3.1.349) | 23.54 mg/capsule | ≥20 mg/capsule |
| Average Fill Weight | Gravimetric (10 capsules) | 195.92 mg/capsule | N/A |
Purity: Heavy Metals
| Metal | Method | Result | Context |
|---|---|---|---|
| Arsenic (As) | ICP-MS | 0.045 ppm | Well below FDA limits |
| Cadmium (Cd) | ICP-MS | 0.010 ppm | Well below FDA limits |
| Lead (Pb) | ICP-MS | 0.033 ppm | Well below Prop 65 threshold |
| Mercury (Hg) | ICP-MS | Not detected (<0.001 ppm) | Below detection limit |
Safety: Microbial Panel
| Test | Method | Result |
|---|---|---|
| Total Aerobic Microbial Count | Modified USP 2021 | <10 CFU/g |
| Coliform Count | AOAC 991.14 | <10 CFU/g |
| Yeast Count | USP 2021 | <10 CFU/g |
| Mold Count | USP 2021 | <10 CFU/g |
| E. coli | Modified USP 2022 | Absent |
| Salmonella | Modified USP 2022 | Absent |
| Staphylococcus aureus | Modified USP 2022 | Absent |
| P. aeruginosa | USP 62 | Absent |
The Cap-in-Cap Format
Our supplement isn't a standard pill. It's a capsule inside a capsule:
Inner Capsule
Concentrated hydroxytyrosol extract — this is where the 23.54 mg lives.
Outer Capsule
High-phenolic Greek extra virgin olive oil as the absorption matrix.
Why does this matter? Hydroxytyrosol is a polyphenol — and polyphenols absorb better when delivered with healthy fats. The outer EVOO layer isn't filler. It's the delivery mechanism. This is the same principle behind why the Mediterranean diet works: you consume polyphenols with olive oil, not in isolation.
Each capsule is 5 calories. One per day.

Olivea Hydroxytyrosol Supplement
23.54 mg hydroxytyrosol per capsule · Lab tested · Single-origin Greek EVOO
Most supplement brands show you a Supplement Facts panel and ask you to trust them. We think that's not enough. When my dad died of a sudden heart attack at 56, I started questioning everything about vascular health. What I found was that the compounds in high-quality olive oil — specifically hydroxytyrosol — are among the most researched natural protectors of cardiovascular health. But I also found that most supplements either don't contain what they claim, or they hide behind "proprietary blends" that make it impossible to verify. That's why every Olivea product comes with published lab results. Not because regulators require it. Because you deserve to know what you're taking.
